People & Animals UK was set up in response to a perceived need for a forum for like-minded individuals utilising a range of Animal-Assisted Therapies at grass roots level to come together to share expertise and promote best practice within the sector. Since its inception, both locally and throughout the UK, a range of conferences, training events and community based therapeutic and educational programmes, have evidenced the need for People & Animals UK to broaden its services to benefit the wider community.

Our latest and hugely successful Networking Day at the Queen Mary Centre, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire on the 5th September 2016, included a range of amazing speakers including; Lucy Llewllyn (Paws 4 Play), Mirena Dimolareva (PhD student Lincoln University), Lizzi Wales (Community Co-ordinator for Cambridgeshire County Council), Aaron Burgess (Assistant Educational Psychologist, Kisimul Group), Chris Kent (K9 Project, author and Canine Assisted Educator and Coach) and Elizabeth Allen (Child and Adolescent Therapist CamH) and more.

We are now excited to announce our next Networking Day, hosted at Hereford Community Farm, on Thursday 7th September 2017. Let us know if you would like to be kept up to date with the programme plans, or like our Facebook page to keep up to date with event information and all of our latest news.

If you would like to let us know of any other events relating to the human-animal bond, email us and we will add it to our events calendar and promote it on our Facebook page.
